PeakOilWhen Auxiliary Vote

The Short-Range Oil Insight Vote (stock picking)

Tell Us How to Rate Your Votes

Your main PeakOilWhen vote is very well counted, and properly integrated. However there are two additional BiPSA votes you may indulge us with to help us beef up the credibility of the integrated result. These are:

  • The Short-Range Oil Insight Vote (stock picking)
  • Tell Us How to Rate Your Votes

  • The Short-Range Oil Insight Vote (stock picking)

PeakOilWhen voters may boost their impact on the integrated result by proving their subject matter insight through their record of success in answering related BiPSA questions. These, so called, auxiliary votes refer to short-range scenarios that receive the verdict of reality pretty soon. For the PeakOilWhen question the selected short range scenarios refer to a small group of oil and energy related stocks. Presumably oil-insightful people will be able to forecast the behavior of such stocks some ten weeks ahead: will the stock rise or fall?

You are cordially invited to case your opinion over the selected stock. Every week there is a new opportunity to express your stock opinion. Voters with a good record of success in these stock opinions will be rewarded by having their PeakOilWhen opinion count more.

As a bonus, each stock voter will receive the integrated result of all the voters for the same question. Such group result might have a value for stock traders.

Tell Us How to Rate Your Votes

Background: In integrating the various PeakOilWhen votes, one needs to establish relative weight to the relevant disciplines. In order to remove any result influence from the BiPSA operator, it is best if this relative impact is dictated by the community of stakeholders. The PeakOilWhen votes themselves should be cast only by oil-thoughtful people, but the relative impact of various disciplines should be determined by everyone with a stake in the outcome. To sharpen the issue, suppose that Alice and Bob hold opposing opiniond with respect to The PeakOilWhen. Alice is an economist, and Bob a geologist. Otherwise the two are equal. Whom do you believe?

Action: You are cordially invited to cast your opinion on the proper form. Select the topic of Peak Oil, and tell us any relative impact opinions you may have. All such opinions will be summarized into a BiPSA result that would be used in the The PeakOilWhen BiPSA integration.
